First Draft of Ezekiel study completed
Ezekiel provides a ‘meta’ narrative of the Jews and their leadership from their beginnings, through to the Babylonian Captivity, and beyond – past the present day to their future relationship with YHVH. I love ‘meta’ narratives – the grand scheme of things, so that is one of the reasons for my love of this book. It provides a great foundation for understanding the position of Jews today as well as for understanding the advent of the Millennium age. Continue reading

Ezekiel study still progressing
I am currently spending four or five hours a day almost every day on this project – hence little time left for me to post updates on blogs! The new translation from the Hebrew text is now complete except for minor reviews and the first draft of the commentary is also complete up to Ezekiel chapter 43. Continue reading

Study of Ezekiel progressing
Ezekiel has much to say not only about the past history of the Jews prior to the Babylonian Captivity, but also about their present and future position, and as such Ezekiel has things to say about what Christians would refer to as the end of the present gospel age or age of grace. I consider the state and condition of the Jews as God’s Covenant people to be very pertinent to Christians in this present day – something that Christians need to be aware of and pay attention to.
